Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp gochujang
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, grated
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 500g pasta
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta until al dente, then drain.
  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sautรฉ for a couple of minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in the gochujang and cook until its color deepens slightly. Pour in the heavy cream and soy sauce, mixing well.
  • Add grated parmesan and stir until fully incorporated. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Add the drained pasta to the sauce and simmer until fully coated and cooked to your preference.
  • Remove from heat and let sit for a couple of minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.
  • Serve warm, garnished with more parmesan and green onions. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of gochujang based on your spice preference.
  • For a protein boost, add grilled chicken, shrimp, or tofu.
  • Use any pasta shape you likeโ€”fettuccine, spaghetti, or rigatoni work well.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
