- 1 can (14 oz/396g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup (120g) maraschino cherries, chopped and drained
- 1/2 cup (60g) chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 tsp almond extract (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan:
- Line an 8ร8-inch (20x20cm) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving overhang for easy removal.
- Melt the Chocolate:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk.
- Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is melted and smooth.
- Mix the Ingredients:
- Remove from heat and stir in the almond extract (if using).
- Gently fold in the chopped cherries and nuts (if using).
- Pour and Chill:
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Cut and Serve:
- Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang.
- Cut into small squares and serve.
