- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice + zest from 1/2 lemon
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
- 3โ4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt (see note)
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cut the butter into pats and place it in a small bowl. Microwave in intervals at half power until melted.
- Add the remaining ingredients and whisk until fully combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Let it cool slightly to thicken or serve warm as a sauce. It can also be used cold straight from the fridge.
Notes
- Adjust the seasoning based on your preference. If using salted butter, reduce added salt.
