Description

A balanced, protein-packed bowl of roasted sweet potatoes, seasoned ground beef, creamy cottage cheese, avocado, and a drizzle of hot honey. Perfectly sweet, spicy, and savory for any meal of the day.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 small (or 1 large) sweet potato, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • 1/2 tbsp hot honey
  • Extra chili flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven or air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss cubed sweet potatoes with olive oil spray, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Spread evenly on the baking sheet.
  3. Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and golden on the edges.
  4. While sweet potatoes cook, heat a skillet over medium heat. Spray with olive oil and add ground beef, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, chili flakes, and salt.
  5. Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and fully cooked.
  6. In serving bowls, layer roasted sweet potatoes, seasoned beef, cottage cheese, and avocado cubes.
  7. Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle extra chili flakes on top. Serve warm or cold.

Notes

  • Roast sweet potatoes until caramelized for the best flavor.
  • Use lean ground beef to keep it light and balanced.
  • Substitute hot honey with regular honey and a pinch of cayenne if needed.
  • Great for meal prep — store components separately and assemble before eating.
