The Cookie Croissant is the viral TikTok dessert thatโs taking the world by storm! Originating from Maison Louvard in Paris, this indulgent treat combines flaky croissants with gooey chocolate chip cookie dough, baked to golden perfection. A must-try for pastry lovers!
Ingredients

3 1/4 cups (390g) all-purpose flour

1 1/4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened

1 1/2 cups (288g) light or dark brown sugar

1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar

2 large eggs, room temperature

2 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 1/4 cups (225g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

15 regular-size croissants

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (180ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugars until creamy (about 2 minutes). Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each. Stir in vanilla extract.

On low speed, gradually mix in dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.

Slice croissants in half and place 2 to 3 tbsp of cookie dough inside each. Close and top with more dough.

Arrange croissants on the baking sheet, spacing them apart. Bake for 12 minutes until golden brown.
