Description

This Cinnamon Sugar Dessert Pizza is a fun and sweet treat with a crunchy streusel topping and a vanilla glaze. Perfect for dessert or as a fun twist on pizza night!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • For the pizza dough:
    • 13.8-ounce package refrigerated pizza crust (Pillsbury brand recommended)
    • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
    • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • For the streusel topping:
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
    • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • For the icing:
    • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
    • 1 tablespoon heavy cream
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400ยฐF. Prepare a pizza pan with nonstick cooking spray or oil.
  2. Roll out the dough onto the prepared pizza pan.
  3. Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered pizza dough, leaving a half-inch border for the crust.
  5. For the streusel topping, combine the cold butter, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Use a pastry cutter or fork to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until the mixture becomes crumbly.
  6. Sprinkle the streusel topping evenly over the pizza dough.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 9-10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown. Allow the pizza to cool for 5-10 minutes.
  8. While the pizza is cooling, prepare the icing by whisking together the powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  9. Drizzle the icing over the top of the pizza, cut into slices, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra indulgent treat!
  • Feel free to add chopped nuts or fruit on top before baking for a fun twist.
