Instructions
- Prepare the Dough:
- In a small bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, mashed banana, vanilla extract, salt, and remaining sugar. Add the yeast mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until a soft dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Filling:
- In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and mashed banana until smooth and spreadable.
- Assemble the Rolls:
- Punch down the dough and roll it into a 12ร18-inch rectangle on a floured surface. Spread the filling evenly over the dough. Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 equal pieces.
- Place the rolls in a greased 9ร13-inch baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake:
