Description

These Churro Chips with Chocolate Dipping Sauce are a sweet and crispy treat, perfect for satisfying your dessert cravings. Crispy tortilla chips coated in cinnamon-sugar, served with a rich, creamy chocolate sauce. Quick and easy to make, these churro chips are a fun twist on the classic churro!

Ingredients

  • For the Churro Chips:

    • 6 medium flour tortillas

    • 4 tbsp melted butter

    • 1 cup brown sugar

    • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon

  • For the Chocolate Dipping Sauce:

    • 1 block (180g) dairy milk chocolate


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Churro Chips:

    • Cut each tortilla into 8 triangles using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.

    • Toss the tortilla pieces lightly in melted butter, making sure theyโ€™re evenly coated but not too wet.

    • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon together. Toss the buttered tortillas in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until fully coated.

  2. Cook the Churro Chips:

    • Arrange the coated tortilla pieces in a single layer in the air fryer basket, working in batches if needed.

    • Air fry at 190ยฐC (375ยฐF) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

    • Let the chips cool for 5 minutes to crisp up further. While still warm, sprinkle with extra cinnamon-sugar.

  3. Make the Chocolate Dipping Sauce:

    • Melt the chocolate in the air fryer until smooth, stirring occasionally.

  4. Serve:

    • Serve the warm churro chips with the melted chocolate dipping sauce on the side and enjoy!


Notes

  • You can make extra cinnamon-sugar to sprinkle on top if desired.
