- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, melted butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until a soft dough forms.
- Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes, until lightly golden.
- In a bowl, stir together sweetened condensed milk, light brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the mixture evenly over the warm crust.
- Return to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, until the caramel layer is gently bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the hot caramel layer. Let sit for 2 to 3 minutes until softened, then spread into a smooth layer.
- Sprinkle toffee bits evenly over the melted chocolate.
- Allow bars to cool completely before slicing into squares.

- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
