ย

Instructions

  • Make the Turkey Patties:
In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, mustard powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Massage the mixture until well combined.
Form the mixture into medium-sized patties, about ยฝ-inch thick, pressing down gently to ensure they hold together. You should have 4 patties in total.
  • Sear the Burgers + Smash:
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add butter. Once melted, add the patties, 1 inch apart. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and slightly charred.
Using a burger presser, gently press the patties down to about ยฝ-inch thick to create a crispy, charred texture.
  • Bake the Patties (Optional):
    Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF.
After searing, transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the patties are cooked through and juices run clear.
  • Make the Chipotle Sauce:
Prepare the chipotle sauce by following the recipe for creamy chipotle dressing/sauce (dairy-free option available).
  • Assemble the Burgers:
Place the cooked turkey patties on your buns. Top with sliced tomatoes, waffle fries, and a generous drizzle of chipotle sauce. For an epic burger, stack two patties per bun.
  • Serve:
Serve with your favorite sideโ€”fries, sweet potato fries, salad, or whatever you love!

Notes

  • To make this dish gluten-free, use gluten-free buns.
  • For a dairy-free version, use vegan butter and dairy-free chipotle sauce.
