Description

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • Tortillas of choice, for serving
  • 1 ripe mango
  • 1 Fresno chile
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1 tbsp cilantro
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/4 tsp salt (for salsa)
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed (for crema)
  • 1 tbsp cilantro (for crema)
  • 1/4 tsp cumin (for crema)
  • 1 lime, juiced (for crema)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (for crema)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Prepare tortillas by warming them.
  2. In a bowl, toss shrimp with olive oil, cumin, salt, paprika, smoked paprika, chipotle powder, and crushed garlic.
  3. Cook shrimp in the skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque and cooked through.
  4. Prepare mango salsa: dice mango, red onion, and Fresno chile. Mix with cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
  5. Prepare avocado crema: blend avocado, garlic, cilantro, cumin, lime juice, salt, and sour cream until smooth.
  6. Assemble tacos: spread avocado crema on tortillas, top with shrimp, and spoon mango salsa over each taco.
  7. Serve immediately with lime wedges and extra cilantro if desired.
