- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons chili crisp (or more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sriracha (or chili-garlic sauce or your favorite hot sauce)
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- Garnish: Chopped green onion or fresh cilantro, chili flakes
Instructions
- Add the shrimp to a large bowl and add 1 tablespoon chili crisp, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, and ginger. Mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sautรฉ for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
- Remove from heat and add the remaining chili crisp, tossing to coat the shrimp.
- Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onion, fresh cilantro, and chili flakes. Serve over rice, noodles, or on their own.
Notes
- For extra heat, add more sriracha or chili crisp to taste.
- This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
- If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of sriracha or chili crisp.
