Description

Chili Crisp Shrimp combines succulent shrimp with spicy, crunchy chili crisp for a bold and flavorful dish thatโ€™s quick to make. Perfect as an appetizer or a main course!


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons chili crisp (or more to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (or chili-garlic sauce or your favorite hot sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • Garnish: Chopped green onion or fresh cilantro, chili flakes

Instructions

  1. Add the shrimp to a large bowl and add 1 tablespoon chili crisp, soy sauce, sriracha, honey, and ginger. Mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and sautรฉ for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
  4. Remove from heat and add the remaining chili crisp, tossing to coat the shrimp.
  5. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with chopped green onion, fresh cilantro, and chili flakes. Serve over rice, noodles, or on their own.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more sriracha or chili crisp to taste.
  • This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
  • If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of sriracha or chili crisp.
