Description

Crispy chicken croquettes with a creamy savory filling, perfectly golden on the outside and soft on the inside.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter, add onion and garlic, then stir in flour and milk to form a thick sauce.
  3. Mix the shredded chicken into the sauce and let it cool.
  4. Shape the mixture into small cylinders or balls.
  5. Dip in beaten eggs, coat with breadcrumbs, and fry until golden brown.
  6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Chill mixture before shaping for better texture
  • Maintain oil temperature for even frying
  • Use panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch
