- 1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 garlic clove, minced

- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 1-1/4 cups finely chopped fully cooked ham
- 2 packages (12 ounces each) Hawaiian sweet rolls, split
- Chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Cut chicken breasts into small bite-sized pieces and season with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, shredded Swiss cheese, and chopped ham.
- Arrange the bottom halves of Hawaiian sweet rolls in the baking dish.
- Spread the chicken and cheese mixture evenly over the rolls.
- Place the top halves of the rolls over the mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter before baking.
- Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
- Optional: add Dijon mustard or mayonnaise to the chicken mixture for a tangy twist.
