Description

This crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap combines golden-fried chicken, fresh romaine lettuce, and a homemade Caesar dressing in a soft tortilla for an easy and delicious meal. Perfect for a quick lunch or a healthy dinner recipe!

For the Chicken:

  • 1 lb thinly sliced boneless chicken breast
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup flour
  • Oil for frying

For the Caesar Dressing:

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp anchovy paste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

For Assembly:

  • 2 heads romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 4 large (12-inch) tortillas
  • Extra Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Bread the Chicken: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs in a third. Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, then dip it in the eggs, and coat it in the breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
  • Fry the Chicken: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  • Make the Dressing: In a bowl, whisk together garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and anchovy paste. Stir in mayo and Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Assemble the Wraps: Spread Caesar dressing onto each tortilla, then layer with chopped romaine, sliced chicken, and extra Parmesan. Roll tightly, tucking in the sides.
  • Sear the Wraps (Optional): Sear each wrap in a hot pan for 1 minute per side until golden. Slice and serve.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, use grilled chicken instead of fried.
  • Store extra Caesar dressing in the fridge for up to a week.
