Scale
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast
- Salt, to taste
- 3/4 cup dry white wine
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
- Fresh lemon slices, for serving
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken:
Combine the seasonings and set aside. Cover the chicken with plastic wrap and tenderize with a meat mallet. Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes and pat dry. Season with salt and the seasoning mixture. - Sear the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken in batches until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside. - Make the Sauce:
In the same skillet, add wine, chicken broth, and seasoned salt. Scrape up any browned bits from the pan and simmer until the sauce reduces by half, about 8-10 minutes. - Finish the Dish:
Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter, garlic, and thyme, simmering for 1-2 minutes. Return chicken to the skillet, add parsley, and toss. Heat through for 2-3 minutes. - Serve:
Squeeze fresh lemon slices over the dish and serve with toothpicks, mashed potatoes, or roasted green beans.
