Description

These savory Chicken Bites are coated in a garlic butter pan sauce with white wine, lemon, and fresh herbs. A simple yet flavorful dish perfect for a quick dinner or an elevated appetizer.

  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breast
  • Salt, to taste
  • 3/4 cup dry white wine
  • 3/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 45 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • Fresh lemon slices, for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken:
    Combine the seasonings and set aside. Cover the chicken with plastic wrap and tenderize with a meat mallet. Cut the chicken into 1-inch cubes and pat dry. Season with salt and the seasoning mixture.
  2. Sear the Chicken:
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken in batches until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce:
    In the same skillet, add wine, chicken broth, and seasoned salt. Scrape up any browned bits from the pan and simmer until the sauce reduces by half, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Finish the Dish:
    Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter, garlic, and thyme, simmering for 1-2 minutes. Return chicken to the skillet, add parsley, and toss. Heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve:
    Squeeze fresh lemon slices over the dish and serve with toothpicks, mashed potatoes, or roasted green beans.
