- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 cup water (if needed)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional, for added freshness)
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in garlic, ginger, and green chili. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft and combined with onions.
- Mix in cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, red chili powder, black pepper, and salt. Stir well.
- Add the chicken pieces, coating them in the spice mixture. Cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
