- 2 small chicken breasts
- 1 Italian-style loaf
- 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning (or salt, pepper, garlic powder)
- 1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic (or garlic paste)
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with poultry seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes per side. Remove and slice thinly.
- In a saucepan, melt 1 stick of butter over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon garlic and sauté until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Add parmesan cheese and stir until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
- Cut the Italian loaf in half lengthwise. Melt the remaining 1/2 stick butter and mix with remaining garlic, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Brush mixture evenly over both halves of bread.
- Place bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5–7 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove bread from oven, top with sliced chicken, then spoon Alfredo sauce over the top. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
- Return to oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish with extra parsley and serve warm, sliced into portions.

- Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker version.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle more parmesan over the finished bread before serving.
- Serve alongside a fresh salad to balance the richness.
- This recipe works well with French bread if Italian loaf isn’t available.
