This Cheesy Tortellini Bake is a delicious, easy-to-make one-skillet dinner loaded with ground beef, savory herbs, pasta sauce, and melty cheese. Perfect for a family meal!

- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3โ4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 24 oz pasta sauce
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1.5 cups water
- 22 oz refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF.
- Heat olive oil in a 12-14 inch oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until no pink remains, breaking the meat up as it cooks.
- Add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in pasta sauce, water, and all herbs. Bring to a simmer, then stir in tortellini and mix everything until well combined. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for about 20 minutes, or until tortellini is cooked through.
- If desired, remove foil at the end and broil for a few minutes to brown the cheese.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add some red pepper flakes for a slight kick.
- Feel free to substitute ground beef with ground turkey for a lighter version.
