Description

Ingredients

  • 10 oz frozen spinach, thawed, drained, and chopped

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1 egg, separated

  • 8 oz crescent rolls


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).

  • In a medium bowl, mix spinach, mozzarella, parmesan, cream cheese, and egg yolk until well combined.

  • Open the can of crescent rolls and lay each triangle out on a foil-lined baking sheet.

  • Spoon a portion of the spinach mixture onto each crescent triangle and roll it up.

  • Brush the tops of the rolls with egg white.

  • Bake for 14โ€“16 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.


Notes

  • Fresh spinach can be used instead of frozen; just sautรฉ and drain it before mixing.

  • Add a pinch of garlic powder or Italian seasoning for extra flavor.
