Description

Ingredients

  • 7 or 8 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup (or any creamed soup of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup butter (or 4 tablespoons melted)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion (or regular onion)
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup Mexican-style shredded cheese (or cheese of your choice)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Peel and dice the potatoes.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a crockpot, combine all the ingredients: potatoes, cream of chicken soup, butter, sour cream, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, parsley flakes, green onion, cayenne, and shredded cheese.
  3. Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours, stirring every 2-3 hours to ensure the potatoes cook evenly.
