Description

Cheesy Chicken & Garlic Pull Apart Bread is a flavorful, gooey bread loaded with shredded rotisserie chicken, garlic, green onions, and a blend of mozzarella and cheddar cheeses, perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 loaf of round bread (about 13 ounces), unsliced
  • 2 tablespoons Tony’s Creole-Style Butter Marinade
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tony’s No Salt Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1 cup rotisserie chicken, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with foil.
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut the bread into a crosshatch pattern, creating squares without cutting all the way through the bottom.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, Tony’s Creole-Style Butter Marinade, and Tony’s No Salt Seasoning.
  4. Carefully brush or spoon the butter mixture into the cuts of the bread.
  5. Stuff shredded chicken, green onions, and cheeses into the crevices of the bread.
  6. Wrap the bread loosely in foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, then unwrap and bake an additional 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and top is golden brown.
  7. Serve warm, pulling apart pieces as desired.

Notes

  • Use day-old or firm bread to make cutting and stuffing easier.
  • Adjust seasoning and cheese amounts to taste.
  • Can add cooked bacon or herbs for extra flavor.
  • Serve as an appetizer or main dish for a crowd.
