Scale
- 1 pound pizza dough
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced pickled jalapeño peppers, drained
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F. Butter a loaf pan and line it with parchment paper to cover the bottom and sides.
- On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 10×20 inches.
- Brush the melted butter over the dough. Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the dough, then top with the pickled jalapeños.
- Using a sharp knife, cut the dough lengthwise into three long strips. Cut each strip into six squares.
- Stack the squares in groups of four or six, being careful not to lose too much cheese. Place the stacked layers vertically in the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake the bread for 25 minutes, or until it is puffed and golden brown.
- Let the bread cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with warm marinara sauce or ranch dressing.
Notes
- For extra heat, add fresh jalapeño slices instead of pickled ones.
- This bread is great served with marinara sauce or ranch dressing for dipping.
- Use store-bought pizza dough for a quicker preparation, or make your own dough for a more homemade touch.
