Description

A refreshing no bake layered dessert made with Maria cookies, creamy lemon filling, and smooth sweetened milk. This chilled treat is perfectly tangy, lightly sweet, and ideal for warm days or easy celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 2 sleeves Maria cookies, about 28 cookies
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Prepare a 9×9 inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, fresh lemon juice, and softened cream cheese.
  3. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the lemon cream mixture on the bottom of the baking dish.
  5. Arrange a single layer of Maria cookies over the cream.
  6. Spread more lemon mixture evenly over the cookies.
  7. Repeat layering cookies and cream until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream on top.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set.
  9. Slice into squares and serve chilled.
