Ingredients
Scale
- 2 1/2 cups breaded chicken fingers, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cup chicken finger dipping sauce (Cane’s Sauce or similar)
- 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls
Instructions
Prep & Assemble:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- If using frozen chicken tenders, cook according to package directions, then chop into small bite-size pieces.
- In a bowl, mix chopped chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and dipping sauce until well combined.
Shape & Bake:
- Unroll crescent roll dough. Press perforations to seal, then cut each sheet into 8 squares (16 total squares).
- Spoon chicken mixture onto each dough square.
- Bring the four corners of each square up and pinch edges to seal into a small bundle.
- Place onto prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
Notes
- Sauce swap: Try honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or ranch dressing instead of Cane’s Sauce.
- Cheese options: Use pepper jack, mozzarella, or Monterey Jack for a twist.
- Spicy version: Add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
- Serving idea: Pair with extra Cane’s Sauce, ranch, or honey mustard for dipping.
