Description

These Cane’s Chicken Crescent Bites are a crowd-pleasing appetizer packed with crispy breaded chicken, melted cheddar cheese, and tangy Cane’s sauce, all wrapped in flaky crescent rolls. Perfect for weeknight dinners, game-day snacks, or party appetizers, they’re easy to make and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/2 cups breaded chicken fingers, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup chicken finger dipping sauce (Cane’s Sauce or similar)
  • 2 (8-oz) cans refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

Prep & Assemble:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. If using frozen chicken tenders, cook according to package directions, then chop into small bite-size pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix chopped chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, and dipping sauce until well combined.

Shape & Bake:

  1. Unroll crescent roll dough. Press perforations to seal, then cut each sheet into 8 squares (16 total squares).
  2. Spoon chicken mixture onto each dough square.
  3. Bring the four corners of each square up and pinch edges to seal into a small bundle.
  4. Place onto prepared baking sheets.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.

Notes

  • Sauce swap: Try honey mustard, BBQ sauce, or ranch dressing instead of Cane’s Sauce.
  • Cheese options: Use pepper jack, mozzarella, or Monterey Jack for a twist.
  • Spicy version: Add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the filling.
  • Serving idea: Pair with extra Cane’s Sauce, ranch, or honey mustard for dipping.
