Description

Sweet, colorful candy-coated grapes made with a variety of flavored gelatin, perfect for a fun snack or party treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice (~1 lime)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (~1 lemon)
  • 1 1/2 ounces raspberry powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
  • 1 1/2 ounces lime powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
  • 1 1/2 ounces lemon powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
  • 1 1/2 ounces orange powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
  • 1 1/2 ounces blueberry powdered gelatin (1/2 of a 3-ounce box)
  • 3 cups green grapes (about 20 ounces)

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the grapes thoroughly, removing any stems.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the lime juice and lemon juice.
  3. Place the grapes in a large mixing bowl and pour the citrus juice over them, tossing to coat evenly.
  4. In separate small bowls, place each flavored powdered gelatin.
  5. Roll the grapes in each gelatin flavor one at a time, coating them evenly.
  6. Place coated grapes on a parchment-lined tray and let them set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

  • You can mix and match gelatin flavors to create your own candy grape combinations.
  • Ensure grapes are completely dry before coating to help the gelatin stick better.
