Ingredients

Units Scale

For the Steak:

  • 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite cut), cut into strips
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Serving:

ย

  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Optional: steamed rice, garlic bread, or roasted vegetables

Instructions

For the Steak:

  1. Season the Steak: In a bowl, toss the steak strips with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Cook the Steak: Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Cook the steak strips for 3-4 minutes per side, until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

For the Shrimp:

  1. Season the Shrimp: In a separate bowl, toss the shrimp with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet used for the steak, add a little more olive oil if needed. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove from the heat.

Assemble the Feast:

ย

  1. Combine and Serve: Plate the Cajun steak and shrimp together on a large platter or individual plates. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
  2. Optional Sides: Serve with steamed rice, garlic bread, or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for a milder or spicier flavor.
  • Swap smoked paprika for regular paprika if needed.

ย

  • For a buttery finish, toss the cooked steak and shrimp with melted butter before serving.
