These Cadbury Egg Cupcakes are a fun and delicious Easter treat! Each chocolate cupcake features a hidden surpriseโ a whole frozen Cadbury Caramel Egg inside. Topped with chocolate frosting and mini Cadbury Eggs, these cupcakes are a fun way to celebrate the season!

- 1 box Devilโs Food cake mix (plus ingredients required for the cake) or your favorite chocolate cake recipe
- Chocolate frosting
- 10 frozen Cadbury Caramel Eggs (unwrapped)
- 10 mini Cadbury Caramel Eggs
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF. Prepare a cupcake pan with liners and spritz with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the cake mix and ingredients as per the instructions on the box or your homemade chocolate cake recipe.
- Use a large scoop to divide the batter between the cupcake liners.
- Place one frozen, unwrapped Cadbury Caramel Egg in the center of each cupcake liner.
- Bake cupcakes for 15 to 18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the sides of the egg comes out clean. (Do not pierce the center where the egg is located.)
- Allow cupcakes to cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Pipe frosting from the center of each cupcake to the outer edge and back to the center to create a peak.
- Press one mini Cadbury Caramel Egg into the peak of each cupcake. Decorate with sprinkles if desired.
