  • 1 box Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix, plus box ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Corn Syrup
  • 1/4 cup softened Butter
  • 3 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Yellow Food Coloring
  • 1 can Creamy Homestyle Chocolate Frosting

Instructions

  • Make the brownies according to the box directions in an 8ร—8-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  • Allow the brownies to cool.
  • In a medium bowl, cream together corn syrup, butter, and vanilla extract.
  • Slowly add in powdered sugar, beating until well incorporated.
  • Transfer half of the filling to another bowl and add yellow food coloring to create the yellow filling.
  • Spread the yellow mixture evenly on top of the cooled brownies and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Spread the white filling over the yellow layer and refrigerate for another 15 minutes.
  • Microwave the frosting for 30 seconds, stir, and pour about two-thirds of the frosting over the brownies.
