- 1 box Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix, plus box ingredients
- 1/2 cup Corn Syrup
- 1/4 cup softened Butter
- 3 cups Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Yellow Food Coloring
- 1 can Creamy Homestyle Chocolate Frosting
Instructions
- Make the brownies according to the box directions in an 8ร8-inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
- Allow the brownies to cool.
- In a medium bowl, cream together corn syrup, butter, and vanilla extract.
- Slowly add in powdered sugar, beating until well incorporated.
- Transfer half of the filling to another bowl and add yellow food coloring to create the yellow filling.
- Spread the yellow mixture evenly on top of the cooled brownies and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Spread the white filling over the yellow layer and refrigerate for another 15 minutes.
- Microwave the frosting for 30 seconds, stir, and pour about two-thirds of the frosting over the brownies.
