For the Cookie:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

For the Chocolate Frosting:

Instructions

Prepare the Cookies:
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- In a stand mixer, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
- Add egg and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Using a small ice cream scoop, form dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and press a thumb into the top of each cookie while they are still warm. Let cool completely on a wire rack.

Make the Chocolate Frosting:
- Melt butter in a small microwave-safe bowl.
- Stir in cocoa powder, powdered sugar, vanilla, and hot water, mixing until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon the frosting into the thumbprint in each cooled cookie.

Decorate:
- Top each cookie with a mini Cadbury egg.
Notes
- If the frosting is too thick, add an additional tablespoon of hot water to reach desired consistency.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
