Instructions
- In a food processor or mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pecans.
- Add the cold butter and pulse or use a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Gradually add cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together.
- If you want a sweeter crust, add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the mixture.
- Gather the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface and fit it into your pie dish.
