Description

A quick, creamy, and spicy Buffalo tuna salad made with everyday pantry ingredients. Perfect for sandwiches, wraps, or scooping with veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans chunk light tuna in water (5 oz each), drained
  • 3-4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1-2 tbsp hot sauce or Buffalo sauce
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 celery rib, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp finely diced red onion or shallot
  • 2-3 tbsp finely diced parsley
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain the tuna thoroughly and add it to a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Add the mayonnaise, hot sauce, and lemon juice to the bowl and mix gently to combine.
  3. Fold in the diced celery, red onion (or shallot), and parsley.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Adjust hot sauce or lemon juice as needed, then chill for 10–15 minutes before serving for best flavor.

Notes

  • Start with less hot sauce and adjust to your spice preference.
  • Serve in sandwiches, wraps, lettuce cups, or with crackers.
  • For extra creaminess, add an extra spoonful of mayo.
