Description

Big Mac Fries are loaded with seasoned ground beef, melted American cheese, shredded lettuce, dill pickles, and onions, all drizzled with a homemade special sauce. Itโ€™s a fun and delicious twist on the classic Big Mac in fry form!


Ingredients

  • Special Sauce:
    • 1/2 cup mayo
    • 1/4 cup collagen
    • 2 tbsp dill relish
    • 1 tbsp grated onion
    • 2 tsp mustard
    • 1 tsp white vinegar
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1/2 tsp paprika
    • Kosher salt to taste
  • The Rest:
    • 24 oz ground beef (85/15 blend, grass-fed)
    • 56 oz frozen French fries (Idaho Hand Cut Style)
    • 12 1 oz slices American cheese
    • 2 cups iceberg lettuce (thinly shredded)
    • 1/2 cup dill pickles (thinly sliced)
    • 1/2 cup white onion (diced)
    • 2 tbsp white sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Make the sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayo and collagen until dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Adjust seasonings to taste.
  2. Brown the meat: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the meat in large chunks. Press down to develop a crust. Flip once caramelized and repeat on the other side. Break the meat into smaller pieces, lower the heat, and cook until fully done. Set aside.
  3. Cook the fries: Prepare the fries according to the package instructions. Use an air fryer for extra crispiness or bake in the oven at 400ยฐF for crisp fries.
  4. Assemble and serve: Spread the cooked fries on a large sheet pan, sprinkle with ground beef, and layer with American cheese. Bake in the oven for 5 minutes until cheese is melted and meat is warm. Remove from the oven, top with lettuce, pickles, onions, and drizzle with the special sauce. Sprinkle sesame seeds and serve immediately!
