Description

Best Buckeye Dip is a creamy, no-bake dessert loaded with peanut butter, chocolate chips, and topped with a silky ganache. It’s the perfect sweet dip for parties, holidays, or any time you want a quick crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • Heaping 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 8 oz Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy cream whipped with 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half (for ganache)
  • Optional: crushed salted peanuts
  • Optional: chopped peanut butter cups
  • Optional: mini M&Ms
  • Optional: flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream) gently until fully combined.
  3. Stir in mini chocolate chips and spoon the mixture into a serving dish.
  4. In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Pour ganache over the peanut butter dip and spread into an even layer.
  6. Top with desired garnishes like peanuts, M&Ms, peanut butter cups, or sea salt.
  7. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving with dippers of your choice.

Notes

  • Use softened cream cheese for smooth texture.
  • Let ganache cool slightly before pouring to prevent melting the dip.
