- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- Heaping 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 8 oz Cool Whip or 1 cup heavy cream whipped with 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for ganache)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half (for ganache)
- Optional: crushed salted peanuts
- Optional: chopped peanut butter cups
- Optional: mini M&Ms
- Optional: flaky sea salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Fold in Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream) gently until fully combined.
- Stir in mini chocolate chips and spoon the mixture into a serving dish.
- In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips with heavy cream until smooth.
- Pour ganache over the peanut butter dip and spread into an even layer.
- Top with desired garnishes like peanuts, M&Ms, peanut butter cups, or sea salt.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving with dippers of your choice.
