Description

Basil Pesto Bread Rounds are crispy, cheesy bites made with French baguette slices topped with a flavorful mixture of mayonnaise, basil pesto, garlic, and Parmesan cheese, perfect for a savory appetizer or side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 (1 pound) loaf French baguette
  • 2/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup basil pesto
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
  2. Slice the French baguette into ยฝ-inch thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, basil pesto, minced garlic, and freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Spread a generous amount of the pesto mixture on each baguette slice.
  5. Sprinkle a little salt over the top to taste.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10โ€“12 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
