- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 bag (10 oz) mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
- Sliced bananas (for serving, optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cereal Mixture:
- In a large bowl, combine the Rice Krispies cereal and crushed vanilla wafers. Set aside.
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows:
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted and smooth.
- Add Banana Pudding Flavor:
- Stir the banana pudding mix into the melted marshmallow mixture until well incorporated.
- Combine and Mix:
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal mixture and stir quickly to evenly coat.
- Optional Add-Ins:
- If desired, fold in the white chocolate chips for an extra sweet touch.
- Press and Set:
- Transfer the mixture into a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch pan. Use greased hands or wax paper to press the mixture evenly into the pan.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the treats to cool and set for at least 30 minutes. Slice into squares and serve with sliced bananas for an extra banana zest.
Notes
- To prevent sticking, lightly grease your hands or the wax paper before pressing the mixture into the pan.
- These treats are best enjoyed the same day but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
