- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 16 ounces fresh mozzarella, sliced or small mozzarella balls
- 1 container cherry or grape tomatoes
- Fresh basil leaves
- Sea salt flakes or finishing salt, to taste
- Balsamic glaze for drizzling
- All-purpose flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly dust the work surface with flour and roll out puff pastry. Cut into 2×2 inch squares and place on prepared sheet.
- Top each puff pastry square with a slice of mozzarella (or a mini mozzarella ball) and a cherry tomato half.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until puff pastry is golden and cheese is slightly melted.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle lightly with sea salt flakes, and top with fresh basil leaves.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze over each bite just before serving.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
