  • 1 (12 oz) package cajun-style Andouille sausage
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 green bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 red bell pepper, julienned
  • 1 onion, sliced into moons
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Prep the Sausage:
    Slice the Andouille sausage into rounds or lengthwise for a fuller look.
  • Cook the Sausage + Peppers:
    In a medium skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter with olive oil. Once heated, add the sausage pieces and sautรฉ for 2-3 minutes on each side until seared.
    Add the onions and chopped bell peppers, stirring to combine. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning, and continue stirring as the vegetables soften and slightly char, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Serve:
