  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine table salt

Garlic Butter (Optional):

  • 1 tablespoon butter (softened, salted or unsalted)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 pinch fine table salt (or to taste)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and salt. Taste and adjust seasoning. Shape into a log using parchment or plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  • Preheat Air Fryer: Run the air fryer with the basket inside at 390ยฐF (200ยฐC) for 5 minutes.
  • Season the Steak: In a small bowl, mix oil, Worcestershire sauce (if using), garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Pat the steak dry and rub the seasoning evenly on all sides.
  • Air Fry the Steak:
    • Place the steak in the air fryer basket.
    • Air fry at 390ยฐF (200ยฐC) for 6 minutes per side for medium-rare.
    • Adjust time based on steak thickness and desired doneness.
  • Check Temperature: Use a meat thermometer to check doneness (see notes for temperature guide).
