Description

This Air Fryer Brie is the ultimate easy and elegant holiday appetizer! Creamy brie cheese wrapped in crispy puff pastry, topped with sweet honey and chopped dates, makes for a quick, crowd-pleasing appetizer. Ready in just 20 minutes, it’s perfect for any gathering, cheeseboard, or holiday party.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 7 oz brie cheese wheel
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (about 8.5 oz), thawed
  • 1 medium egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/3 cup dates, pitted and diced

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and preheat for 5 minutes.
  • Prepare the Brie: Unwrap the brie and place it in the center of the puff pastry sheet.
  • Wrap the Brie: Gently fold the puff pastry around the cheese, trimming off any excess on the bottom if needed.
  • Apply Egg Wash: Beat the egg and brush it over the puff pastry for a golden finish.
  • Air Fry:
    • Place the wrapped brie into the air fryer basket.
    • Cook at 350°F for 10 minutes, then carefully flip and fry for an additional 3–5 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown on both sides.
  • Garnish & Serve: Drizzle with honey and sprinkle chopped dates on top before serving. Enjoy warm with crackers or sliced baguette!

Notes

  • Serving suggestions: Pair with crackers, toasted bread, or fresh fruit like apples and grapes.
  • Make it extra festive: Add a sprinkle of chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts) for added crunch.
  • Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days and reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes.
