- Filling: 1/4-1/2 cup dark brown sugar (1/4 cup recommended), 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, 2 tablespoons salted butter (melted), 1 jar strawberry jam (about 1 1/2 cups)
- Frosting: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons maple syrup, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- For the dough, mix flour and brown sugar in a bowl. Cut in butter and vanilla until crumbly dough forms. Press half of the dough into the prepared pan.
- For the filling, combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, melted butter, and strawberry jam. Spread evenly over the dough layer.
- Crumble the remaining dough over the filling layer.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
- For the frosting, whisk together powdered sugar, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth. Drizzle over cooled bars.
- Cut into squares and serve.
