Description
This simple and cozy One Pot Pasta recipe requires just 3 ingredients and is ready in about 45 minutes. A hearty meat sauce with your favorite pasta is cooked together for a delicious and comforting meal!

- 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 jar (approx. 25 oz.) marinara sauce
- 12 ounces pasta (rotini, rigatoni, or farfalle)
- Optional garnish: grated parmesan cheese and fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it into small pieces with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 6 minutes. Add salt.
- Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the marinara sauce. Fill the empty marinara jar with water (approx. 3 cups) and add it to the pot. Stir to combine.
- Add the pasta to the pot and stir again.
- Bring the pasta and sauce to a simmer (just barely bubbling). Cook for 15 minutes, stirring frequently to ensure the pasta does not stick.
- Add 1 more cup of water and continue cooking, stirring frequently, until the pasta is tender, about 15 minutes more.
- Garnish with parmesan and fresh basil. Serve immediately.
Notes
- This dish will keep in the fridge for about 5 days.
- To reheat, add a splash of olive oil, water, or broth, and heat until warm. Individual servings can also be microwaved.
