Description

These 2 Ingredient Onion Ring Chips are low-carb, crispy, and packed with savory flavor. Made with just onions and parmesan, they’re the perfect snack or appetizer, especially when served with Lazy Tzatziki.


Ingredients

  • 2 small white onions, sliced into 1/4 inch rounds
  • 7 oz shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Paprika, to taste
  • Lazy Tzatziki, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss the onion slices with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. On the parchment-lined tray, make small piles of shredded parmesan to form nests for the onions.
  4. Place each onion ring on a cheese nest and top with more parmesan, fully covering the ring.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly on the tray so they crisp up.
  7. Serve warm with Lazy Tzatziki or your favorite dip.
